She was predeceased by: her parent Rev. Malley Levingston Braswell; her siblings, Mary Lou Spearman, Patricia George and Elburn Braswell; and her granddaughter Laurie Robbins Moss.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Van Ledford; her children, James "Jimmy" McDowell Moss Jr. (Amanda), Angela "Angie" Moss Dixon (Dean) and Steven Moss (Patty); her stepsons, Charlie Ledford and Donald "Duck" Ledford; her grandchildren, Kristin Watkins, Hunter Dixon, Tyler Dixon, Nathan Moss (Amanda) and Corbin Moss (Emily); her siblings, Helene Price and Mike Braswell (Frankie); and her close friend Carolyn Holt. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
