It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rufus Bratton Hopper Jr. of Clover, South Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Bratton Hopper Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Denise Hopper Harkins (Jack L. Harkins, Sr.) of Clover; his sister Ann Hopper Ipock (Tommy Ipock) of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, James Bratton Harkins, Felicity Mariann Harkins and Jack Lee Harkins, Jr.; his nieces, Kay Bailey, Debra Lynn Preston and Ann Renee Peeler; his nephew Thomas Dewayne Beaver; and his great-niece Susan Bailey Rohrer.
