He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Sapp; his parents, Ed Sapp and Sadie Marie Murray Sapp; his wife Linda Diane Sapp; his siblings, Lucille, Fannie Beth, Margaret Ann, Don, Murray and Allen; and his daughter Sheryl Kent Carter Knighton.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Everett of Alachua, FL., Sheila Dell of Simpsonville and Manie Kent Jr. of Greenville; his brother Tommy Sapp; his grandchildren, Scott Barnette, Ashton Dell, Corey Dell, Jordan Carter, Lawton Dell, Matthew Everett, Michaela Dell, Caton Dell and Haley Everett; and his great grandchildren, Ava Barnette and Jameson Carter.
