He was predeceased by: his parents, Burch L. Lancaster and Elma Coggins Burnett Lancaster; his daughter Phyllis Lancaster Henderson; and his siblings, Juanita, Eloise, Muriel, Ruth, Ann, Frank, J. E. Carl, Ray and Hugh.
He is survived by: his children, Paige Lancaster Venczel (Jim) of Chesnee and Curtis "Curty" Lancaster (Lisa) of Chesnee; his son-in-law Dr. Michael Henderson of Chesnee; and his grandchildren, Ross Henderson, Matt Henderson, Blain Babcock, Parker Babcock, Austin Lancaster, Lauren Lancaster, Stevi Painter, Reno Watson, Brittany Wheeler and Tawnie McSwain.
