He was predeceased by: his parents, Jubilee Gilbert and Clemmie Jolley Yelton; his significant other Shirley W. Gilbert; his daughter Rhonda Morgan; his granddaughter Brittany Allen; and his siblings, Alvin Yelton (late Carolyn) and Betty Jolley (Rob).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gilbert (Gwen) and Anita Williams (David); his son-in-law Darryl Morgan (Arlene); his grandchildren, David Gilbert (Courtney), Kelly Williams (Garrett), Brandy Hawkins (Chris), Brandon Kline, Craig Williams (Stacie), Jordan Williams (Casey), Matthew Allen, Tyler Allen (Breanna), Morgan Morgan and Kelsey Morgan; his siblings, Herman Gilbert (late Betty Jo), Jeanette Newton (late Alfred), Donald Yelton (Barbara), Hoyt Yelton (Margaret) and Brenda Ramsey (Paul); and also Terrell Dillingham. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Due to covid, the family will be in their respective homes.
