She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie Scruggs, Jr.; her sister Earlene Wall; her granddaughter Aubrey Scruggs; and her son-in-law Danny Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Michael Scruggs, Mike Scruggs, Mark Scruggs (Sybil) and Karen Cooper of Inman; her siblings, Tom Cantrell of Chesnee, Emily Devlin of Boiling Springs and Martha Scruggs of Chesnee; and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nathan, Jacob, Brooke Scruggs, Wayne Cooper and Chad Cooper.
