She is survived by: her husband Alton Bernard Fortenberry; her daughters, Candy Zeigler (Heyward) of Branchville, SC and Cindy Fortenberry of Chesnee, SC; her grandchildren, Summer Garrett, Ronald Garrett, Kacie Chappell, Chad Cudd and Brittany Sherbert; and her siblings, Connie Kidd of Myrtle Beach, SC, Danny Axson of Bamberg, SC and Edward Axson of Reevesville, SC.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
