We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 72, Althea Tipton (Chesnee, South Carolina), born in Roan Mountain, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Campbell and Martha Hopson Campbell; her grandson Zachery Tipton; and her siblings, Rosie Thomas, Ellen Tipton, Bruce Campbell and Michael Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Tipton (Matt) of Inman, Jodi Blanton (Keith) of Chesnee and Bart Tipton of Chesnee; her siblings, Dimple Whitley, Gloria McAmis, Penny Campbell, Karen Hitechew, Steve Campbell, Lucky Campbell and Rudy Campbell; and her grandchildren, Brandon Tipton, Taylor Tipton, Lillie Blanton, Lorenzo Tipton, Bianca Tipton and Daisy Scruggs.
