He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Rushton and Myrtle Rushton. He is survived by: his wife Nita Sandefur; his children, Stephanie Harris (Jim) of Raleigh, NC and Mark Rushton (Lynsey) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, AnnaLouise Harris, Audrey Harris, Jaxson Rushton and Eleanor Rushton; and his siblings, Phillip Rushton, Sharon Murray and Mike Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407 earmarked for Children's Ministry.
