He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Merrill D. Wish and Eunice C. Wish. He is survived by: his wife Grace Bowling Wish; his daughter Camille Bowling Wish of Charleston, SC; and his siblings, Lee C. Wish (Pat) of Port St and Regina E. Smyth of Harrells, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
