He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald Gamble, Sr. and Eddie Richbourg Gamble; and his brother Edward D. Gamble. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Jeffers Gamble; his son John M. Gamble III (Devon); his grandsons, Ryan A. Gamble and Coleman J. Gamble; and his niece Donna L. Gamble (Todd).
