Elizabeth Cole Conway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Cole Conway of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Torlay Cole and Charles Edgar Cole; her son Raoul Bryant Conway; her husband Jack of Charleston; and her siblings, Charles, Robert, Lula and Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, John Condon Conway, Jr. (Carol Sottile), Ruth Ellen "Ruthie" Conway Smythe (David) and Patrick Francis Conway (Robin). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to the Nativity Church Building Fund at 1061 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412 or to any charity that serves those in need.
