He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ryne Skidmore and Maude Hunter Skidmore; his son Alex Skidmore; and his brothers, Charles Skidmore, Bill Skidmore and Steve Skidmore.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his son Robert Skidmore (Ingrid); his brothers, John Skidmore (Mary) of Charlotte, NC and Dale Skidmore (Beverly) of Charlotte, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Skidmore and Nancy Skidmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
