She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Rucker and Margarita "Maggie" Gibbons Rucker; her husband Paul A. Dewey; her daughter Linda Higgins; her stepdaughter Renee Metze; and her siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Winters and Walter "Walt" Rucker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie K. Burke (David) of Chapin, Jenny H. Williams of Chapin and Janet H. Hair (Kevin) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Heather Mann, Anna Davis, Sarah Burke, Jessica Taylor, Elizabeth Massenburg, Harrison Hair, Andrew Metze, James Metze and Jennifer Dewey; her great grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Marissa Mann, Addison Davis, Hunter Taylor, William Metze and Trey Metze; and her pet Ruby.
