She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Strong and Ruth Ellen Cowan (Lancaster); her husbands, William T. Simmons and James Sanders; her siblings, Inman Cowan, Joe Cowan, Patsy Raymond Cruz, Betty Stevens and Irma-Jean Cowan; and her granddaughter Shala Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Daniel Sanders, Raymond Floyd Sanders, Randall Lewis Sanders, Cynthia Ann Baker, Carol Elizabeth Sanders, Linda Diane Sanders and Juanita Lynn Thomas; her grandchildren, Che Adams, Courtney Garita, Christy Benitez, Jennifer Miller, Shannon Sanders, Jason Sanders, Josh Hicks, Tiffany Hicks, Jessica Hicks, Hope Sanders, Elena Sanders, Jessica Murphy, Lee Murphy, Josie Murphy, Brianna Boyce and Travis Sanders; and her siblings, Johnny Cowan, Richard Cowan, Reba Marrow and Montine Cowan. She is also survived by 58 great grandchildren.
