He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Brooks and Grace Brooks; and his brother Wayne Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Shelba Brooks; his children, Darla Ramey (Allen) of Liberty and Troy Brooks (Marcey) of Liberty; his grandchildren, LeAnna Corley, Luke Ramey and Willow Brooks; his great grandchildren, Claire, Nolan, Isaac and Sadie; and his brother Tim Brooks (Janet).

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Camp Creek Baptist Church.
