He is survived by: his wife Peggy Shelley Matthews; his daughters, Shelley Murphey (Dell), Rosemary Matthews and Valerie Dukes (Wes); his grandsons, Todd Hill and Brandon Hill (Destaynie); his great grandchild Brayden Hill; his stepgrandchildren, Linsey Cooke (Jason), Lacey Curry (Adam), Brianna Settles (Thomas) and Jenna Abernathy (Stephen); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Blaise and Jude.
