He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lawson Pruitt and Josephine Holden Pruitt; and his siblings, Arthur Pruitt, Marie Johnson (Tink), Bertha Solesbee, Mary Riddle and Ruby Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney E. Pruitt (Betty) of Campobello, SC and Glenda Marie Anthony (Bill) of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Billy Anthony, Ginger A. Walley and Stephen Anthony; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Aiden Walley, Averie and Ella Anthony.
