He is survived by: his parent Virginia Mae Jackson Sims; his wife Gayle; his son Craig Sims; his daughter-in-law Claudia Sims; his daughter Kimberly Smith; his son-in-law Christopher Smith; his grandchildren, Abbey Sims, Emily Sims, Matthew Smith and Owen Smith; and his brother Larry Sims.
