She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Edward Powell; her parents, Dave Floyd and Amela Welch Floyd; her siblings, Tilman Floyd, Sally McGee, Ella Parker, Idell Lamb, Leo Bryant and Gladys Anderson; and her children, Rosa Tedder and David Don Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Bueline Poston (Jimmy) of Coward, Vela Mae Powell of Cades, Jane Watford (Heyward) of Lamar and Edward Powell (Michele) of Cades; her niece Mae; her daughters-in-law, Tammy Driggers of Cades and Tina Scurry of Kingstree; and her sister Eva Flowers of Cades. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; several great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
