He is survived by: his wife Sarah Terry Bowers of Brunson; his former wife Betty Jean Hubbard Wall; his sister Ida Bowers Harter of Brunson; his stepgrandsons, Brad Broxton of Beaufort and Gregg Broxton of New York; his friend Marion Roberts; his nieces, Martha Merritt of Clermont and Olivia Young of Bluffton; his nephew Lee Harter of Orangeburg; and also William Knight "Bill" Bowers of Brunson.
