It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora M Zeigler of Branchville, South Carolina, born in Rowesville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Heyward C. Zeigler, Sr.; her parents, Rufus Metts and Ethel Metts (Byrd); and her brothers, Rufus Metts, Jr. and Floyd Metts.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Austin of Bowman, Susan Z. Foster of Spartanburg, Heyward Zeigler of Branchville and David Zeigler (Susan) of Branchville; her grandchildren, Jason Austin, Erin Fogle, Will Foster, Jessica Potts, Megan Hughes, Chris Zeigler, Heyward Lawrence Zeigler, William Zeigler, Summer Hudson and Ron Garrett; and her siblings, Lloyd Metts of Monks Corner and Amanda Drawdy (Ray) of Branchville. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Branchville United Methodist Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
