He was predeceased by: his parents, James D Weeks Sr. and Evelyn Weeks of Branchville; and his siblings, Joyce Sinkler and Ronnie Weeks. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Weeks of Barnwell; his children, James D Weeks III (Jennifer) of Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Weeks of Virginia; his grandchildren, Aiden Johnson and Lilly Perkins; his sister Kim Ulmer; his brother-in-law Ronnie Ulmer; his sister Diane W Byrd; his brothers-in-law, Mickey Byrd and Allen Sinkler IV; his stepdaughter Leslie Perkins; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle (David Powell), Lesley (Shane Johnson), Allen Sinkler V. Pallbears, Thomas Edwards, Allen Sinkler IV, Allen Sinkler V, Tony Judy, David Powell and Monte Ward.
