She was predeceased by: her husband Everette N. Thompson; her parents, George W. Dukes and Mattie Martin Dukes; and her siblings, Elise D. Elrod, Inez D. Fralix, Carlisle Dukes and Marion Dukes.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Lewis (James) and Dale Robinson (Ed Lockhart); her grandchildren, Stephanie Tanner (Cory), Jamie Blodgett (Richard), Andrew Robinson (Mariek) and Danny Lockhart; and her great grandchildren, Emma Lee Tanner, Anna Elizabeth Blodgett and Willow Elaine Lockhart.
