With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derry Chadwick Grant of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minzor Z. Chadwick and Sarah I. Chadwick; her husband John A. Grant; and her siblings, Ronald A. Chadwick, Greta D. Rector and Sarah "Ree" Bullock.
She is survived by: her daughter Felicia G. Poston; her grandchildren, J. Grant Poston and Jaimie P. Morris (Ryan); her great grandchild Lawson J. Morris; and her brother Minzor W. Chadwick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Derry's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
