She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Byrd Roof (James) and Frank Eugene Roof, Jr. (Virginia); her husband Bennie Leigh Outen; and her brother Kenneth Roof. She is survived by: her children, Michael Fulmer (Jandy) and Catherine Bowers (John); and her brother Melton Roof (Helen). She is also survived by four grandchildren.
