It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Donnelly of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Flushing, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Donnelly and John E. Donnelly (Jack); and his wife Pat (Pat). He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Amy) of Long Island, Kieran (Kate) of Vermont, Mark of Long Island and Patrick (Christine) of Long Island; his grandchildren, Liam, Owen, Lily, Richard, Mary, Kieran, Cara, Caroline, Meredith, Dilyn and J. J.; and his siblings, Kevin Donnelly and Meredith (Malloy).
A funeral mass will be held at Church of Saint Mary, Manhasset, New York (where Rick and Pat were married) on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 10:15 a.m.
