He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Deak. He is survived by: his son Richard Blum of Bluffton; his sister Eva Felkel; and his niece Carol Felkel of Austria. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Compassus Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
