She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Shivener and Lucy Spears Shivener. She is survived by: her husband Carson Hopkins; her sisters, Shirley Campel, Mary Kinney and Rita Kennard; her son Dr. David R. Hopkins (Angelia); her grandchildren, Jody Harvey, Nathan Hopkins (Kim), Johnny Hopkins (Jena), Ashli Hopkins, Alex Hopkins (Kelsey) and Nicole Hopkins; her great grandchildren, Fai Hopkins, Tristan Cowan, Silas Hayes, Peyton, Parker Harvey, Camden, Noelle, Kate Hopkins, Addison and Alexis Hopkins; and her sister Janet O'Dell.
