He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Curtis and Fannie May Curtis (Trull); his wife Margaret Ann Curtis (Wotthlie); and his siblings, Frances Rhinehart, Margaret Curtis, Robert Curtis, Bud Curtis, Annie Jane Webb, Mary McClure and Carolyn Curtis.
He is survived by: his sisters, Edna Crawford, Amelia Mullinax and Marie Edwards; his nieces and nephews, Thomas (Victoria) of Knotts Island, James of Taneytown and Kenneth (Kathryn) of Phoenix, Maryland.; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Meaghan, Paul, Andrew, Paige and Sammy.
