He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Anita (Louise); his children, Debbie Widman (Ray), Donna Gaffney and Andrew Riegel; his stepson John Vessecchia (Teri); his grandchildren, Marc Durante (Jeannifer), Ryan Durante (Faina), Jack Widman (Lauren) and Sally Ann Widman; and his great grandchildren, Mallory Durante, Clayton Durante, Jaina Durante, Dillon Durante and Archer Widman.

To honor Clay's memory, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
