He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward and Evelyn Brakefield Mendenhall; and his brothers, Frank Edward Jr., Marion and Robert Mendenhall.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; his daughter Brooke; his son-in-law John Anderson; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Willis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
