Betty Bowman-Wagner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2022, at the age of 92, Betty Bowman-Wagner of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meixner and Marie Meixner; her husbands, Howell G. Bowman and Edward Wagner; her sister Gloria M. Buschmann; and her niece Bonnie Michel.
She is survived by: her son Robert Swearer (Marjorie); her grandchildren, Nathan Swearer, Brian Swearer (Dahlia), Amy Swearer and Emily Brown (Robert); her niece Betsy Massa (Kurt); and her brother-in-law Werner Buschmann.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's name to honor her service as a church musician may be made to the "Grandma Betty" Music Ministry Fund at Life Journey Lutheran Church, 1313 NE 134th Street, Vancouver, WA 98665.
