She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Begin and Fannie Begin (Witherall); her husband Ken; and her siblings, Chuck and Gerry.

She is survived by: her children, Paul (Genna), Marijo (Rob), Thomas (Becky), Richard (Dee), Daniel (Eve) and Mike (Cindy); her siblings, Ken Begin (Janet) and Margaret Thompson (Doug); and her sister-in-law Peggy Priest. She is also survived by her 37 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society 1525 Dean Forest Rd.
