It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannon Herrin (Blacksburg, South Carolina), born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Granger, Sr. and Sybil McAbee Granger; her aunt Rita M. "BeBe" Lunsford; her uncle Gilbert McAbee; and her grandparents, Jesse and Ethel McAbee.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shane Granger of Gaffney, Chip Granger of Gaffney, Chuck McAbee of Gaffney and Gidget Bishop (David) of Inman, SC; her uncle Sandy Lunsford of Gaffney; her nephew Nick Granger of Gaffney; her nieces, Alyssa, Jada Granger of Gaffney, Mikayla Portillo (Jordon) and Eva Echoels of Gaffney; and her cousin Derrin McAbee (Kim) of Spartanburg.
