He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. McDaniel and Emma Jean White McDaniel; and his siblings, Bobby Joe McDaniel, Joel McDaniel, Janice McDaniel Reynolds and Cindy McDaniel.
He is survived by: his brother Mike McDaniel of Gaffney; his nieces, Linsey Martin and Kimberly Brown; his close friend Elaine Mullinax; and also Matthew McDaniel.
