He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forrest Parker and Corrie Bratton Parker; his siblings, William "Bill" Parker, Henry "Bate" Parker, James "Jake" Parker, Charles Parker, Reverend Perrin Parker, Bobby Dean Parker and Leila Parker Lyle; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Cooper, Jayse Cooper, Ellee Cooper and Emersyn Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hamrick Parker; his daughters, Angie Cooper (Danny) of Shelby, NC, Lorieann Byars (Scott) of Blacksburg and Dana Weaver (Chris) of Blacksburg; his siblings, Forrest "Junior" Parker (Gerry) of Kings Mountain, NC and Betty Harrington of Gaffney; his sisters-in-law, Frances Parker of Blacksburg, Diane Parker of Blacksburg and Diana Rollins of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan Cooper (Hailey), Ben Cooper (Madison), Corrie Rindone (Kevin) and Drake Byars; and his great grandchildren, Delaney Cooper, Wren Cooper, Millie Jane Cooper and Finleigh Marie Rindone.
