She was predeceased by: her husband David Eugene Ewaldz; and her parents, Swanson Carroll and Elsie McDowell Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan David Ewaldz (Susanne) of Blythewood and Amy Ewaldz McMahan (Brandon) of Taylors; her siblings, Swanson "Junior" Carroll of Yanceyville, NC, Marie Winstead (Sam) of Leesburg, NC, Lois Easler (Tom) of Blacksburg and Shirley Burt (Fred) of Fuquay Varina, NC; and her grandchildren, Parker Ewaldz, Molly Ewaldz and Sawyer McMahan.
