He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Brown Traylor; and his siblings, Robert Traylor (Bob), Joseph Traylor (Jake), Sarah Whitney, Rosalie Burkette, Thelma Moss and Kathleen Leverette.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ernest Carroll III and Amber Carroll (Dillon); and his great grandchildren, Kinsley Blackwell and Easton Murphy.
