He is survived by: his wife Louise Peterson Lanier; his son Darren Lanier (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Joey Lanier, Courtney Morgan, Ashleigh Lanier, Brett Lanier and Haylee Cunningham. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
