He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Willard and Emogene Gibson Fowler; his son Brandon Fowler; and his grandson Noah Blaze Martin. He is survived by: his wife Lucia "Lucy" Turner Fowler; his children, James Ward Fowler (Denise) of Blacksburg, John Allen Fowler (Krystal) of Blacksburg, Angela Fowler Martin (Mark) of Blacksburg and Page Fowler Dixon of Beaufort; his stepchildren, Charlie Daggerhart (Charm) of Gaffney, Renee Wyatt (Terry) of Gaffney, Paula White (Scott) of Gaffney and Tammy Daggerhart (Timmy) of Gaffney; and his brothers, Allen Fowler (Claudia) of Gaffney and Larry Fowler (Kathy) of Gaffney. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
