He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Robert Nance and Ruby Brandon Nance; and his siblings, Thomas Neal Nance and Frances Peigler. He is survived by: his wife Diane Pender Nance; his son Jonathon Franklin Nance (Stephanie Marie Smith) of Denver, NC; his siblings, Robert Nance, Jr. (Terry), Douglas Nance, Betty Stringer, Lynda Brooks, Carolyn Wheeler (Jerry), Dee "Tweetsie" Alexander (David) and Judy Parks (Gene); his sisters-in-law, Traci Nance and Kay Sullivan (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Zander, Zoey, Zach and Skylar.
