With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangeline Helms Walker of Blacksburg, South Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Wesley Walker Jr.; her sister Grace Bohr; her children, David "Pete" Walker, Kenneth Walker and Lisa W. Martin; and her close friend Roger Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Cheska Robbins (Chris) of Blacksburg, SC., Leylonne Martin (Danny) of Blacksburg, SC., Mona Blankenship of Blacksburg, SC. and Wesley Martin (Christy); her sister Marie Owens of Blacksburg, SC.; her nephews, Stephen Owens (Nicole) and Dusty Floyd; her niece Stacey Floyd; and her great-nephew Alexander Owens. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
