She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, John Joseph and Effie Brakefield Gilfillan; her mother Martha Gilfillan Hogue; her aunts and uncles, Sam E. Gilfillan, William Lee Gilfillan, Calvin C. Gilfillan, Wallace Neely Gilfillan, Johnnie B. Gilfillan, Thomas Bert Gilfillan, Sara Jo Gilfillan, Annie Mae Gilfillan and Jean Gilfillan White; her cousin Ruth Gilfillan McGill; her daughters, Barbara Batchler Rolen and Patricia Batchler Falls (Roy); her grandchildren, Ellen Turner Owen (Michael) and Daniel Clayburn Turner III; her great grandchildren, Marilyn Denice Turner, Waylon Cash Turner and Charles "Hammer" Rolen; her sisters, Diane Morton and Doris Carlisle; her great grandchildren, Daniel Clayburn "Clay" Turner IV and Dennis Austin "Denny" Turner; and her granddaughter-in-law Ashley Cox Turner. She was also cherished by her nephews, nieces and many cousins.
