It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Nelle Floyd Brown (Bishopville, South Carolina), born in Olanta, South Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings James Floyd and Maude Irene Mathis Floyd; her husband Howard Melvin Brown; her son Michael David Brown; and her brothers, Duncan LeRoy Floyd and Paul Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, George Howard Brown (Deb) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Sonia B. Spivey (Tommy) of Sumter, SC, Amyie B. Purpura (Phil) of Johns Island, SC and Denise Seymour (Joe) of Bishopville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Jodi Hewett, Lori Seymour (Tim), Josh Seymour (Lisa), Lauren Scott (Jeremy), Julie, Alaine Crump (David), Leslee Oliver (Jonathan), Laura Steen (Carson), Rudder Brown and Kep Brown. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
