It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Melton Polston Sr. of Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Marvin (Ethel Stevens Polston); and his siblings, Marvin Polston, Jr., Jerry K. Polston, Ruby Spry, Lois Morgan and Grace Pender.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley C. Polston; his children, Curtis Melton Polston, Jr. (Ashleigh) of Bennettsville, SC, Sandy P. Freeman (James) of Cheraw, SC and Denise Garland (Randy) of Duncan, SC; his sisters, Mildred Green of Laurinburg and Sylvia Polston of Laurinburg; and his friends, Zoey and Patches. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
