He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clayton, Sr. and Floy "Nell" Boatwright Shelton; and his sisters, Sylvia Kicklighter and Renee Walters-Peavey. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Moon of Charleston, SC and Stacey Dorris of Charleston, SC; his sisters, Terri Stone (Richard) of North Augusta, SC and Wanda Shelton of Aiken, SC; and his grandchildren, Savannah and Jacob Dorris.
