It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Miles of Beech Island, South Carolina, born in Vaucluse, South Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Lewis Tanton and Mina Lorene Maddox Tanton; her children, Beverly James, Lisa Best (Alton) and Tim Miles; her sister Helen Tanton Bailey; her close friend Jenny Fulghum; her son Bobby Miles; her brother Ray Robert Tanton; and her grandmother Banana. She was also cherished by five granddaughters, six grandsons, eleven granddaughters, five great grandsons and three great-great grandsons.
