He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Cairnes; his children, Christina Maria Reardon (Brian) of Springfield, GA and Kenneth "Bubba" Cairnes Jr. (Tina) of Beaufort, SC; his stepchildren, Brandi Lynn Stone (Bryan) of Easley, SC and Michael Dewayne Threet Jr. of Pueblo, CO; and his brother Dwight Wade Cairnes of Beaufort, SC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of long-time friends.
