She was predeceased by: her parents, Waymon Wesley and Julia Bedenbaugh Temples; her husbands, Walter Henry Matthews (Pete) and Floyd Kyzer; her son David Byron Matthews; and her brothers, Waymon Jr., Albert, Lewis and Verbe Temples.
She is survived by: her son Wesley Lee Matthews; her daughter-in-law Miriam Matthews; her granddaughters, Meredith Matthews Derrick (Robert), Mackenzie Matthews Taylor (Blair) and Megan Matthews Moore (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Abigail Derrick, Katherine Derrick, Yates Taylor, Reeves Taylor, Brooke Moore, Henry Moore and Mary Claire Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hulon Baptist Church Building Fund.
